Arctic Monkeys are an Alternative rock band Formed in 2002 the band currently consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jamie Cook (lead guitar, backing vocals), Nick O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals), Matt Helders (drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Hugo Sarmiento as a touring member (keyboard, guitar, backing vocals). Former members include Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Glyn Jones (lead vocals, rhythm guitar).

Their debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, released in early 2006, became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history, surpassing Kula Shaker's K and remains the fastest-selling debut album for a band in the UK. Since then the band have released two more albums: Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007) and Humbug (2009). The band is currently in the studio, recording their fourth album, expected to be released in 2011.

Arctic Monkeys are heralded as one of the first acts to come to the public attention via the Internet (fan-based sites rather than from the band), with commentators suggesting they represented the possibility of a change in the way in which new bands are promoted and marketed.

Radiohead

Radiohead are an English alternative rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in 1985. The band consists of Thom Yorke (vocals, guitars, piano), Jonny Greenwood (guitars, keyboards, other instruments), Ed O'Brien (guitars, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass, synthesisers) and Phil Selway (drums, percussion).

Radiohead released their first single, "Creep", in 1992. The song was initially unsuccessful, but it became a worldwide hit several months after the release of their debut album, Pablo Honey (1993). Radiohead's popularity rose in the United Kingdom with the release of their second album, The Bends (1995). Radiohead's third album, OK Computer (1997), propelled them to greater international fame. Featuring an expansive sound and themes of modern alienation, OK Computer has often been acclaimed as a landmark record of the 1990s.

Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001) marked an evolution in Radiohead's musical style, as the group incorporated experimental electronic music,Krautrock, post-punk and jazz influences. Hail to the Thief (2003), a mix of guitar-driven rock, electronics and lyrics inspired by war, was the band's final album for their major record label, EMI. The band's first six albums, released via EMI, had sold more than twenty-five million copies by 2007.Radiohead independently released their seventh album, In Rainbows (2007), originally as a digital download for which customers could set their own price, and later in physical form to critical and chart success.

Radiohead's work has appeared in a large number of listener polls and critics' lists. In 2005, Radiohead were ranked number 73 in Rolling Stone's list of "The Greatest Artists of All Time". While the band's earlier albums were influential on British rock and pop music, musicians in a wide variety of genres have been influenced by their later work.

Among Radiohead members' earliest influences were Queen and Elvis Costello; post-punk acts such as Joy Division and Magazine; and significantly 1980s alternative rock bands such as R.E.M., Pixies, The Smiths and Sonic Youth. By the mid-1990s, Radiohead began to mention an interest in electronic music, especially that of DJ Shadow, which the band cited as an influence on parts of OK Computer. Other influences on the album were Miles Davis and Ennio Morricone, along with 1960s rock groups, such as The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Jonny Greenwood also cited composer Krzysztof Penderecki as an inspiration on the sound of OK Computer. The electronic style of Kid A and Amnesiac was the result of Thom Yorke's admiration for glitch, ambient techno and IDM as exemplified by Warp Records artists such as Autechre and Aphex Twin. The jazz of Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis, and 1970s Krautrock bands such as Can and Neu!, were other major influences during this period. Jonny Greenwood's interest in 20th century classical music also had a role, as the influence of both Penderecki and composer Olivier Messiaen was apparent; for several songs on OK Computer and later albums, Greenwood has played the ondes Martenot, an early electronic instrument popularized by Messiaen. While working on Hail to the Thief, Radiohead put renewed emphasis on guitar rock. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and particularly Neil Young were reported sources of inspiration to the band during this period. Since beginning to record In Rainbows, Radiohead members have mentioned a variety of rock, electronic, hip hop and experimental musicians as influences, including Björk, Liars, Modeselektor and Spank Rock. Style Steal : Taylor Momsen

Taylor is best known for her role as Jenny Humphrey on the mega-successful TV show Gossip Girl, but she’s also a budding rocker with her own band named The Pretty Reckless ! She also has a slew of TV and movie credits under her belt. With all her success, it’s hard to believe she’s only 16 years old.

Below, I’ll break down Taylor’s sense of style and show you some sample photos that will help you get her look!

Elements of Taylor’s Style

Taylor’s style can be described as quintessential rocker chick meets fashion girl – she’s a big fan of the color black, dark eye makeup, ripped jeans, and anything that gives off a tough-girl vibe. At the same time, that whole rocker look is very big in fashion right now – so that probably influences Taylor’s style as well.

Here are a few key elements of her style, as well as a look at the pieces Taylor loves:

·         Lately, she’s obsessed with patterned tights. Almost all of her recent candid photos have her wearing various pairs – from rosettes to faux garter belt patterns, she’s tried them all!

·         She is always wearing black. It’s definitely been her color of choice over the past year. It’s rare that one of her outfits won’t include the color somewhere! And if they don’t include black, they probably have grey. Taylor is definitely a fan of monochrome.

·         Taylor loves bad-girl details – studs, silver sequins, rips, chains; you name it, she’ll wear it. This girl never plays it safe with her accessories.

·         She’s almost always wearing heels. At 5’8″ tall, she hardly needs the height, but the extra inches definitely make her look even more modelesque.

·         Her personal style is very close to her character Jenny’s style on Gossip Girl. While Jenny’s looks are more calculated than Taylor’s thrown-together chic, the two still rock very similar pieces. So the TV show is a great place to find inspiration if you love Taylor’s look!

Ignite For Desire

This band was formed on march 12^th 2008 with the formation of Ino (Guitar), Shandy (Bass), Kiki (drum), Novi (vocal), Yudi (Guitar). It was initially named The Charity Night , then changed into Icarus Fall Down, after 10 month established they once again changed the name became Ignite For Desire. They have their own mission, as a metal band, they intent to give inspiration to all the Headbangers throughout the world.
