THE BOHEMIANS rockin' on Jakcloth Year End Sale 2010

The Bohemians adalah group musik asal kota Bandung berdiri 8 maret 2003 yang di awali dengan pembuatan sebuah lagu yang mengawali terbentuknya band ini. Lagu tersebut sempat diputar hingga beberapa bulan lamanya di radio-radio ternama di Bandung dan Jakarta.

Pada mulanya sebelum berganti nama dengan THE BOHEMIANS, band ini mengusung nama SeMUT sampai akhirnya pertengahan tahun 2008 berganti nama dengan THE BOHEMIANS.

Bandung Blues Society sering di kait-kaitkan dengan keberadaan THE BOHEMIANS sebagai wadah pemusik minoritas di Kota Bandung dan dalam perjalanannya yang belum cukup lama Bandung Blues Society terbentuk namun respon dan keberadaannya mulai dirasakan. ini menjadi salah satu mimpi THE BOHEMIANS sendiri untuk memberikan ruang pada musisi lokal yang tidak mendapatkan tempat yang layak untuk berkarya dan sekaligus mengapresiasikan bentuk karya tersebut ke dalam musik yang kami sebut BLUES.

Performance THE BOHEMIANS di Jakcloth Year End Sale 2010 cukup menarik banyak perhatian pengunjung. Dengan formasi Kamran sebagai vokalis, Luky dan Sadat pada gitar, Bayu sebagai Bassist dan Bayz sebagai additional drummer. Mereka memainkan 5 lagu yaitu Spirit Ride Song, Trapped In a boredom, Hippies New Year, Baby Blues dan Don’t Talk Too Much. Lagu Baby Blues dengan alunan suara harmonika membuat yang mendengarkan seolah terbawa dalam nuansa dan dimensi lain. Keempat lagu lainnya dengan irama yang up-beat dan penuh gairah, membuat para penonton bersemangat dan bergoyang. Applause dari para penonton sudah membuktikan bahwa THE BOHEMIANS layak diacungi jempol atas performance mereka.

Jakcloth Year End Sale sudah berakhir, event yang berlangsung dari 3 Desember 2010 sampai 5 Desember 2010 di Plaza Tenggara Senayan benar-benar luar biasa ramai. 

Walaupun cuaca di sore hari seringkali tidak bersahabat tetapi tidak menghalangi para pengunjung untuk datang. Panas terik ataupun hujan sepertinya tidak mengurungkan niat mereka untuk datang.

Dengan beragam acara yang ada di Jakcloth seperti kompetisi basket 3 on 3 , trampoline bungee, bmx demo dan live performance dari band-band dalam negeri memang membuat Jakcloth menjadi event yang patut diacungi jempol.

Deadseventies sendiri agak sedikit kewalahan dengan cuaca dan tentunya pengunjung booth kami yang membludak. Selama event berlangsung Crew DSVS benar-benar semangat dan full of energy.

Walaupun persiapan untuk jakcloth selama dua minggu sudah membuat para crew DSVS mengurangi jatah tidur mereka, mengeksplorasi setiap ide-ide dan merealisasikannya dan tentunya hal tersebut sangat melelahkan, namun saat event rasa lelah itu berubah menjadi semangat dan energy setelah melihat antusiasme dari para pengunjung.

Last but not least, Deadseventies would thanks to all of you yang sudah mengunjungi booth kita dan membeli produk kita, thank you juga untuk BMX rider kita Mark Moeis dan tentunya untuk The Bohemians untuk performance-nya yang mantavsssssss !!!!!

One busy day ....

It's been a while since we're updating this blog.

Hopefully, from now on we can regularly updating this blog with everything about DEADSEVENTIES, either it's about our new stuffs, events or just about anything.

We can't deny, that Jakcloth does really making us really really busy.

We have to multi-tasked ourselves, it sounds a bit exhausting yet we considered it was FUN.

For example, at one time we have to do some designing or promoting that means we have to be-friended with our computers while on the other times we're so busy checking the production, counting the stuffs that comes in and out, and on some other times we're dealing with carpentry tools making attributes and properties for our booth.

Despite of the big cut-off of our sleeping time, we're absolutely enjoying ourselves getting all the ideas and energy to make everything comes into perfection.

DEADSEVENTIES' HEADQUARTER

This is our headquarter. In normal way, we can call it "Management Office", but Headquarter fits us better. We do all the thinking here. Designing, making concept, organizing and managing.

Well it looks kinda messy from the outside, but wait until you see on the inside. It is more messy than this.  Despite the messiness, it is a homey and comfort Headquarter. Just like the wise man says, creative people can't work in tidiness :p
